Missouri Karate Association is not liable for injuries, misuse of techniques outside the dojo, or misunderstanding of rank progress.

6. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Martial arts training involves physical exertion and contact-related activities. By participating, you acknowledge:

  • You or your child are physically fit to participate

  • You assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages

  • Missouri Karate Association and its instructors are not liable for injuries, accidents, or property loss during activities at the dojo, off-site events, or virtual sessions

We recommend consulting a medical professional before beginning any physical training.

7. Payments, Billing, and Refunds

  • Tuition payments are billed monthly unless otherwise noted

  • Refunds are issued only for future unused classes, not for past attendance

  • Belt testing fees, uniforms, events, and promotions are non-refundable

  • Missed classes can be made up based on instructor availability but do not qualify for reimbursement

8. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect only necessary personal information including name, phone number, email, and form submissions. Your information will never be sold or shared with third parties except:

  • Payment processing platforms
