Family/General (all ages and ranks)
The Family/General class is a great way to spend time with your family while learning karate and getting in shape. If your goals are earning a black belt, meeting new friends, achieving a new personal challenge or to learn self-defense the Family/General Karate Class is for you.
Little Ninja (ages 3 to 6)
Give your child a head start with improved hand-eye coordination, balance, flexibility, confidence, focus, discipline and teamwork while having fun and making friends. Parents will see the benefits of karate training shine through in your child's daily life. MKA students experience improvements in school work, sports and general attitude as well as physical development and improved balance and speed.
Juniors (ages 7 to 13)
The beginning of formal karate training involves learning kata (forms) and kihon (fundamentals). These are the building blocks for learning how to control your body and maximize its potential in terms of speed, balance and power. Karate exercises both mind and body to develop harmonious control that enables atypical power and techniques for self-defense. You will see the benefits of karate training shine through in your child’s daily life. MKA students experience many improvements in school work, sport performance, and general attitude, as well as physical development.
Advanced (brown & black belts, 14 +)
This class focuses on elements of karate that require a mastery of the fundamentals. This includes black-belt katas and kumite techniques.
Personal classes have one instructor and one student. These classes provide the opportunity to tailor instruction for the student and target areas to produce a uniform karate technique.
These classes are scheduled on demand. more
Adults (ages 14+)
Karate instruction for adults considers mental and physical maturity. It is excellent for flexibility, cardio-vascular health, general fitness, self-defense and generating power (small or large person). Classes are available for beginners and advanced (brown/black belts).
